When we first tried a mini rice cooker, we were surprised to find that it’s basically a 2-cup crockpot.

It’s really not complicated to use, no bells and whistles, and aside from plugging it in, there’s no setup required.

1. Spiced Lentils and Rice

Done in 30 minutes, this wonderfully easy and mouth-watering recipe doesn’t even need you to precook the chicken. Just oils the sides or stir frequently to prevent it from sticking to the sides.
